1- High Dam

Location: Aswan, Egypt
About: The High Dam is a massive engineering marvel that was completed in 1970. It was built across the Nile River to control flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and provide irrigation to the surrounding areas. The dam has significantly altered the landscape of Egypt, creating Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world. The project was initiated under the leadership of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, and it took over a decade to complete.


 2- Unfinished Obelisk

Location: Northern Aswan, Egypt
About: The Unfinished Obelisk is located in a quarry and provides an intriguing glimpse into the process of obelisk construction in ancient Egypt. It was intended to be the largest obelisk ever erected in Egypt, standing at around 42 meters (138 feet) tall and weighing an estimated 1,200 tons. However, it was abandoned in the quarry due to cracks that appeared in the granite during the carving process.


2- Lunch Break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
