Tour to the East Bank of Luxor with a Nile River Trip

A tour of Luxor’s East Bank combined with a Nile river trip is a fantastic way to explore some of Egypt’s most famous ancient temples while enjoying the beauty of the Nile.

 

 1. Karnak Temple Complex


The largest religious site in ancient Egypt, dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.
Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, with 134 giant columns.
See the Avenue of Sphinxes, which once connected Karnak to Luxor Temple.


 2. Luxor Temple

Built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, this temple is stunning at sunset.
Features massive statues of Ramses II and an obelisk (its twin stands in Paris at Place de la Concorde).
Once connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes (now partially restored).


 3. Luxor Museum (Optional Visit)
