Overview: The Valley of the Kings is perhaps the most famous archaeological site on the West Bank. It served as the burial place for Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs (approximately 1550-1070 BCE), including some of the most renowned pharaohs like Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I

Overview: Located near the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens was the burial site for the wives and children of pharaohs. The tombs here are generally smaller but still boast intricate artwork and beautiful reliefs.
