Golden Sands to Ancient Wonders: Luxor Day Tour       

Overview                  

A day trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor offers a breathtaking journey into the heart of ancient Egypt, blending the serene beauty of the Red Sea coast with the timeless splendor of the Nile Valley. Starting early in the morning, travelers are whisked across desert landscapes to reach Luxor, often called the world's greatest open-air museum.

The day is filled with awe-inspiring visits to iconic sites such as the majestic Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs were laid to rest, and the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut. Along the way, there's a chance to glimpse local life along the Nile and perhaps enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch. Though long, the trip is richly rewarding—an unforgettable dive into the wonders of ancient civilization, all in a single day.

Itinerary                      


1- Visit the Valley of the Kings  
       
The Valley of the Kings is home to the tombs of many pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I. You will visit a few of the most famous tombs (entry is usually limited to 3 tombs per ticket)

2- Visit Hatshepsut Temple:

The Temple of Hatshepsut is one of the most beautiful and unique temples in Egypt. It is dedicated to the only female pharaoh, Hatshepsut, and is built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.


3- Colossi of Memnon:
On your way to the next site, stop by the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once guarded the entrance to the temple of Amenhotep III. These statues are famous for their size and their resonance (they used to make a mysterious sound at dawn, which led to myths about them).


Afternoon:

4- lunch .  after finishing your sites in the west bank .drive to our local authentic restaurant to enjoy your​ lovely food there.


5- Visit Karnak Temple (East Bank):
Karnak Temple is one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in Egypt. It was built and expanded by multiple pharaohs over centuries.
